Mission

Every individual possesses unique and wonderful gifts and talents. It is our goal to provide a safe environment for these gifts and talents to be explored and developed through the techniques found in Theatre and taught by Theatre professionals.

Everyone needs to be good at something.  When that “something” to excel at is discovered, self-esteem and self-confidence grows.  This is what we facilitate. Some people are good at sports, some are good at academics, and some are good at the arts. There are many sports camps and teams and lots of knowledge bowls and honor rolls to encourage athletic and academic success. And now here we have a wonderful opportunity where the “self” is encouraged to grow and develop amidst the “group”.  In the end, we end up with a confident individual working cohesively within the group. 

Our productions are very exciting with the music, dance, costumes and lighting. But before we get to that desired end result, there is a journey that takes place. This journey begins with a group of individuals who don’t know each other. Through the rehearsal process, these individuals make friends, find common interests with one another, identify with others, support each other, and feel a sense of belonging with the group. Each person is encouraged to be themselves and to be honest and caring towards one another. The environment in which to learn must be an emotionally safe one.  We do not tolerate any kind of bullying or negativity. We are here to support each other and to create magic on stage that none of us could do alone by ourselves - it takes the group to make the experience truly magical.
